The story behind the shirt

A shirt from the season in which RB Leipzig won the DFB Super Cup. Leipzig came out on top in August with a 3-0 win against Bayern Munich. In the Bundesliga, Leipzig finished in fourth place, collecting 65 points from 34 matches with 19 wins, eight draws and seven defeats. Offensively, the team shone with 77 goals: Loïs Openda was the top scorer with 24 goals, Xavi Simons scored eight goals and provided eleven assists, while Benjamin Šeško found the net 14 times. The Red Bulls also impressed in the Champions League, winning four of their six group matches. The season's results included high-scoring home wins such as a 6-0 against Köln and a 5-1 against Stuttgart.
