Locarno

FC Locarno is a Swiss football club from Locarno, the town on Lake Maggiore in the canton of Ticino. The club belongs to the Northern Italian-influenced football culture of southern Switzerland and plays its home matches in a stadium with a capacity of 11,000, including 1,000 seats. The club is owned by the North Sixth Group. As a club with strong regional roots, Locarno stands for Ticino's football tradition away from the big German-speaking Swiss centres.
